Sakina Rizvi

Sakina Rizvi is a graduate student in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Department of Neuroscience at the University of Toronto, supervised by Dr. Sidney Kennedy (UHN) and Dr. Beth Sproule (CAMH). Her research is focused on the characterization and measurement of dysfunctional dopaminergic neurocircuitry in treatment resistant depression through challenge paradigms, dopamine receptor PET imaging, and the development of dopamine symptom-specific scales. In addition, she is also a clinical research coordinator in the Department of Psychiatry at University Health Network, primarily involved in projects regarding Deep Brain Stimulation for treatment resistant depression and the assessment of antidepressant-emergent sexual dysfunction.
